Terms and Conditions

1.

Acceptance of orders

The company Peck Trading Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Peck Trading).  All orders received by the company are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.
No variation in these terms and conditions will be accepted and Peck Trading reserves the right to refuse any order when deemed necessary.

2.

Pricing and Payment

By default, all prices shown in the list are Exclusive of VAT.
VAT will be applied at the current rate unless a valid VAT exemption form is received and authorised. Or should the goods be VAT exempt. A VAT invoice will be provided.
Every effort will be made to advance notice of price increases; Peck Trading reserves the right to change prices and adjust prices accordingly at the date of despatch if required.
We also reserve the right to correct omissions and errors displayed on our website at any time.
Payments are due in accordance with the agreed terms, established at the time of opening a credit account.
We accept payments in Sterling (£). Via BACs, card payment or via your website login.

3.

Quotations

A quotation by Peck Trading shall be valid for the period stated. A quotation does not constitute a binding contract until Peck Trading has accepted the order by fulfilling the order. Prices quoted on our vast stock holding will be valid for the duration of stock remaining. Price changes may occur for special order or non-stock items.

4.

Deliveries & Carriage

Any delivery dates and times specified by Peck Trading are approximate. Responsibility for arrangements necessary to take delivery of the goods remains the responsibility of the customer.
Peck Trading will not accept responsibility for the suspension or delay in deliveries, nor the consequences thereof.
Peck Trading Ltd offer a ‘to your store, not your door’ delivery service. Should you wish our assistance in handling goods to an alternative floor or storeroom, please advise the driver when they arrive. Should there be no one on site to take delivery, every effort will be made to leave the goods in a safe place. Should no safe place be available, we will endeavour to retry when next in your area.
Delivery is free to addresses within selected PL, TR, EX & TQ postcodes. Please call 01752 841220 to clarify your address. Delivery outside our own transportation routes will incur a delivery charge at the couriers going rate at the time of order.
Deliveries to Plymouth, Saltash & Liskeard for items held in stock are usually delivered next working day when routes/time allows. It is our intention to delivery to Torquay/Exeter etc areas on a Monday & Wednesday, Bodmin/Truro etc on a Tuesday & Thursday. Delivery routes are subject to change depending on Stock replenishment and order volumes received etc.

Any discrepancy or damage must be notified to Peck Trading within 7 days.

5.

Cancellation, Returns and Variation of Orders

Peck Trading will make every effort to meet customer's individual requirements. Any stock items in resale condition in original packaging can be cancelled or returned to Peck Trading. When on a routine delivery route, a free of charge collection can be arranged. Outside of this return would be at the carriage cost to the customer. Except in the instance of a warranty item, where Peck Trading will arrange. Special order items will be clarified when quoting/placing an order. These Special Orders are non-returnable/ unable to cancel once the order is placed.

6.

Warranty & Warranty Period

Goods are supplied according to the descriptions given; slight variations may occur.
Where goods are eligible to warranty, the warranty will only apply providing correct operation, cleaning, servicing etc has been followed as per the manufacturer's guidelines and registered with the manufacturer when required.
 

7.

Retention & Title

All goods supplied by remain the property of Peck Trading Ltd until such time as payment has been received if full.

8.

Restriction of Liability

The customer must check at the time of delivery that products are correct and undamaged before providing a signature. Shortages or damaged items must be informed to the office within 48 hours of receipt. No liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from delays in delivery. 

9.

Force Majeure

Peck Trading Ltd will not accept liability for any loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond the Company’s control.
Should any such event occur Peck Trading may delay despatch etc without incurring any liability for any loss or damage caused.

10.

Proper Law

These terms and conditions and the rights and obligations of the parties shall be governed interpreted and construed solely in accordance with the laws of England. Please see the .gov website for any clarifications.

11.

Products

Every effort has been taken to ensure that the descriptions are accurate, however specifications/appearances may change.
At times product specification from the manufacturer can change, in such instances we will do our best to update an alternative suitable.
All sizes and measurements are approximate, every effort is made to ensure they are as accurate as possible,
On the rare occasion when there is an error in our information, we will do our best to correct as soon as possible.
At times we may experience problems with the supply of certain products and may therefore provide a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price.
All images are for illustrative purposes only. Whilst we strive to ensure the accuracy of all images, please note that occasional discrepancies may arise.
